1、Private Reprimand：私下批评，CFA协会相当于口头警告处分。此处罚并不对除当事人以外其他人公开（https://www.frmcfa.com/）。
2、Suspension or Revocation of Membership：此处罚只适用于CFA member，即已经注册为CFA协会正式会员，或CFA下属协会（Society）会员考生。仅为CFA candidate不属于此类。
3、Summary Suspension：处罚不配合CFA协会调查考生，此类处罚同样剥夺参加任何CFA项目权利。(CFA考试科目)
4、Suspension or Prohibition from Participation in the CFA Program：CFA考生不得再参加任何CFA项目。从1年到5年限时禁考，CFA考试到终身（permanent）禁考不等（CFA含金量，CFA持证人迎来重大利好）。
